Congratulations to our Capstone team from Texas A&M Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. Our team won First Place for the design of a Climate Monitoring System in the Texas A&M University’s 2018 Engineering Project Showcase. The engineering showcase featured over 200 teams competing for the Elbit Systems of America Award and a prize of $1000.

These students from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department, were tasked with creating a Climate Monitoring Network. This system involves using recording stations to gather long term agricultural data, including temperature, soil moisture, rainfall which is relayed to a network coordinator and made available for viewing on the web.
